The Devotion known as The Way of the Cross, or Stations of the Cross, is an adaption to local usage of a custom widely observed by pilgrims to Jerusalem: the offering of prayer at a series of place that the city traditionally associated with the Lord’s passion and death.

The scripture traditions of Buddhism, Christianity, Islam, and Judaism are filled with meditations about the importance of feet. If you’re not familiar with them that’s ok. Even without scripture and tradition your feet can be a tool that leads you to closer to God and your neighbor.

Pray to whomever you kneel down to…

Then pray to the bus driver who takes you to work.

On the bus, pray for everyone riding that bus,

for everyone riding buses all over the world.

Drop some silver and pray.

Faith for those who are looking for simple ways to live in a complicated time.

We could all use a little more joy.
